Norfolk Women’s Marketing Network is a Community Interest Company that aims to facilitate a consistent space for Norfolk marketers to connect, learn, and empower each other.
We are a network reserved for Norfolk-based women and non-binary marketers. When you attend an NWMN event, you can feel confident that you have at least 3 things in common with everyone in our community: you have an interest in marketing, you live or work in Norfolk, and you can relate to or learn from challenges others have faced due to their gender identity.

Founded in 2021
Norfolk Women’s Marketing Network was founded by Grace Appleby in September 2021. As a fresh graduate from the University of East Anglia with few business connections, Grace created NWMN to meet likeminded women with an interest in marketing.
In April 2022, Grace formed an advisory board to ensure that all decisions made for the network were representative of the wants and needs of the community.
Ever since, NWMN has been a consistent space for women and non-binary folk to gather, learn, and make connections. The network has successfully held monthly events and has reached over 1060 marketers since its conception.
In 2023, NWMN held the inaugural Norfolk Women’s Marketing Awards, created to celebrate the talented marketers in our community. With 7 categories, spanning all seniorities and stories, the awards were a great success and will become a recurring annual event.

Our advisory board was established in April 2022 to help advise and give direction to the network. Each member was recruited carefully due to their experience, industry, and background, ensuring the board is representative of the community as a whole.
